Goals and Missions

NCPA and its Members are committed to working with ASIC in an open and transparent manner to continue improving the performance of the industry and ensuring that where there are legitimate complaints that they are addressed quickly and in favour of the consumer.

National Credit Providers Association has the following Goals and Missions:

  • To discuss and act upon any matter which effects the best interests of Members of the Association and the community they seek to serve.

  • To promote the continuation and development of a viable small and medium amount credit industry.

  • To promote and protect the rights and interests of customers of the small and medium amount credit industry.

  • To promote the right of all Australians to financial inclusion and thus maintain the right of all Australians to access credit.

  • To maintain continuing communication with Government, both State and Federal, as well as consumer advocacy bodies to promote the interests of the small and medium amount credit industry and its customers.

  • To work with regulators to distribute information to Members.

  • To provide Members with guidance to assist with compliance of all legislation and regulations that impact upon its Members.

  • To raise the professional standard of Members and their employees.
