NCPA Overview

The National Credit Providers Association* is the peak Australian industry association for the small and medium loan sector. Governed by a Board of industry leaders, NCPA is a mutual not-for-profit association and represents ASIC licensed credit providers, operating from nearly 300 retail locations across Australia and from dedicated online platforms. It is estimated our Members account for 85-90% of the small amount consumer credit market providing credit to over 988,000 Australians each year. NCPA performs the role of providing a significant “preventative measure” of self-regulation in the market place by assisting and guiding lenders in the provision of fair and safe credit under the NCCP Act 2009 with a recognition of dignity for all consumers. *Formerly National Financial Services Federation.
